Dr. David Gliddon is a member of The White House Community Leaders Program.

As faculty at Colorado Technical University he has taught: Organizational Behavior, Organizational Change and Development, Human Resource Management, Employee Training and Development, Workforce Effectiveness, Compensation and Benefits, Principles of Business, Creating Academic and Professional Success, Building Effective Teams, and graduate courses in Leadership, Organizational Leadership and Change, and Leadership and Organizational Power.

He served as Chair of the Colorado Technical University Library Committee. He has consulting experience in HR, professional development, and performance management. He authored the chapter "Performance Management Systems" for the Handbook of Improving Performance in the Workplace. He spoke at the ISPI International Conference at Walt Disney World in 2009.

He received ISPI's 2009 First Place Distinguished Dissertation Award, a 2009 Colorado Technical University Faculty Service Appreciation Certificate, a 2005 Colorado Technical University Faculty Service Award, and is an Eagle Scout. He has written and contributed to many publications. He was a reviewer for SAGE publications. His research is listed as suggested reading by the National Council on Teacher Quality and the Federal Consulting Group.

He has performed with vocal ensembles at the National Cathedral in Washington DC, Caerphilly Castle in Wales, UK, the U. S. Navy Academy, and at various locations along the east coast.
